Jim Hutchinson, DipWSET, Instructor
Jim Hutchinson is a partner in Kings County Wines, a boutique retailer in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. KCW was founded in 2015 and has grown steadily to become southern Brooklyn’s go-to source for hand-crafted, small-production wines and spirits. Prior to his involvement with KCW he managed Domenico Valentino, a small NYC-based wine importer and distributor and was the operations manager at Olcam Management, the parent company of I Trulli and Centovini restaurants and the retailer Vino Fine Wines and Spirits.
Jim teaches at International Wine Center at WSET Levels, 2, 3 and 4. He earned his WSET Diploma in 2005 and a master’s degree in Food Studies from NYU in 2001. He lives in Flatbush, Brooklyn with his wife Erika and two daughters Lucinda and Beatrice.
