Laura Battiato, DipWSET, Instructor
Laura has been studying wine since 2006, when she entered the Culinary Institute of America. She has had just about every job — both front and back of house — that the great Restaurant Industry encompasses, including corporate beverage purchasing for the Fig and Olive restaurant group and management of the beverage program at Locanda Verde and the Greenwich Hotel.
In 2013 Laura became Italian specialist at Palm Bay International, and in 2017 was promoted to manager of the on-premise sales team for both wine and spirits in NY Metro. She is now NY State Metro Team Leader for Taub Family Selections.
Laura earned her WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits in 2017 at International Wine Center. She joined the IWC faculty in 2018.
