Entrance Requirements
- At least 21 years of age AND
- A passing grade in the WSET® Level 2 Intermediate Course in Wines & Spirits; OR
- Successful completion of the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) course of the Society of Wine Educators; OR
- Successful completion of a WSET-sanctioned entrance exam.

Bonus Session – LIVE, IN-PERSON Tasting Technique Course Day and Practice Tasting Exam: Wednesday, August 16, 2023 (hours TBD) at IWC.
Remote Mock Theory Exam: Monday, September 18, 2023, at 6:00PM EST (via Zoom webinar)
Exam Date: Monday, October 2, 2023
Exam time: 1:00PM – 3:30PM
Format: Blind tasting exam, two wines, 30 minutes; Theory exam 50 multiple choice questions and 4 short-written answer questions, in 2 hours. You must pass both parts of the theory exam in order to receive a theory pass.
The deferment deadline for this exam is September 5, 2023.
