This element of the WSET Level 4 Diploma Courses involves independent research on an assigned topic and the writing of a 3000-word research paper. A 2.5 hour class assists students in approaching their research. Also, WSET requires that students have studied Level 4 D2 'Wine Business' before registering for this course.

The topic for January 2024 submissions is viewable now in the WSET Online Classroom student resource area (Log-in is required).
