Adriana Aga, DipWSET, Instructor
Born and raised in Romania, Adriana Aga discovered her passion for wine during a decade-long career in New York City hospitality. Her experience as a sommelier led her to study at International Wine Center, where she earned her WSET Diploma with Merit in 2021.
She later pursued a Master’s degree in Wine and Hospitality Management in Paris, deepening her understanding of the business of wine. Today, Adriana is a Wine Business Consultant for boutique and luxury brands.
Adriana aims to share her enthusiasm for wine in a welcoming, approachable way, helping students build confidence in tasting, discover what they enjoy, and navigate wine lists with ease.
Champagne holds a special place in Adriana’s heart, while sake has become another source of excitement and discovery. She enjoys exploring the styles, traditions, and craftsmanship behind both, especially over a good meal.
