Classes occur over 3 blocks of 7 to 9 weeks each in Fall, Winter and Spring. WSET requires that students study Level 4, D2 'Wine Business' before registering for this element, as that material supports students' performance in D3.

Note: You may pay for this course in two installments. The initial payment is $2588. The remaining $1490 tuition is due 8 weeks after the course start date (November 5, 2024).

WSET Level 4, Independent Research Assignment, D6

This element of the WSET Level 4 Diploma Course involves independent research on an assigned topic and the writing of a 3000-word research paper. A 2.5 hour class assists students in approaching their research. Also, WSET requires that students have studied Level 4 D2 'Wine Business' before registering for this course.

IMPORTANT: If you enroll to submit a paper for January 2025, we insist that you prepare at least a rough draft of your paper prior to the webinar. The D6 webinar is discussion-driven; If you haven’t progressed to at least the rough draft stage of your paper you will not be prepared to actively participate in the webinar.
