Anne Cox, DipWSET, Instructor
Hailing from Northern California, Theresa was bitten by the wine bug early in life and vowed to one day channel her analytical attention to the field. Retirement from a successful career in finance gave her that opportunity. She quickly worked her way through the WSET Diploma program, not yet sated; she is constantly working to enhance her knowledge and plans to pursue the Master of Wine program. Presently, Theresa works as a senior sales specialist for Sherry-Lehmann Wines in Manhattan, teaches for International Wine Center and provides Auction Advisory services to collectors. Her greatest joy is in demystifying wine and giving people the confidence to trust their palates.
Theresa holds a B.A. degree in Economics from University of California at Davis and an M.B.A. degree from Columbia University School of Business, graduating top of her class. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Diploma in Wine & Spirits from the WSET in London.
