WSET Level 4, Independent Research Assignment, D6

This element of the WSET Level 4 Diploma Course involves independent research on an assigned topic and the writing of a 3000-word research paper. A 2.5 hour class (via live remote online webinar) assists students in approaching their research. Also, WSET requires that students have studied Level 4 D2 'Wine Business' before registering for this course.

IMPORTANT: If you enroll to submit a paper for January 2027, we insist that you prepare at least a rough draft of your paper prior to the webinar. The D6 webinar is discussion-driven; If you haven’t progressed to at least the rough draft stage of your paper you will not be prepared to actively participate in the webinar.
